Refunds & remaining balance

Refund availability depends on the route and the funds' current state. Check the controls and explanation on your bridge.

Requesting a refund​

  1. Open the original bridge.
  2. Check the balance that is available to refund.
  3. Use the refund action if it is offered.
  4. Review the destination asset, network, address, amount, and costs before confirming.
  5. Track the refund from the same bridge.

Use an address you control that supports the refund's asset and network. Do not assume the sending exchange's transaction address is an appropriate refund address.

Pay Mode​

Pay Mode supports refunding its balance. A refund of remaining funds does not undo an output that has already been delivered.

Funds already processing​

A transfer may be committed to a swap or purchase and no longer available as an unspent balance. A completed blockchain transfer or redeemed digital product generally cannot be reversed from the bridge.

If no refund action is available or the amount is unexpected, preserve the order details and use the help options in the app. Do not create a second order to try to recover the first.
